Quarry Foreperson - What Will You Do?


* Lead coworkers in safe, efficient operations and serve as the on-site point of contact when the Superintendent is not present.


* Assist with daily production, material flow, reporting, and maintenance activities.


* Support the Superintendent in planning and coordinating day-to-day operations across the operation.


* Monitor quality, inventory, and reporting to ensure materials meet required specifications.


* Conduct and participate in daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks.


* Assist with MSHA and DEP inspections.


* Work collaboratively in a collective bargaining environment, fostering teamwork and communication.


* Assist with training coworkers on equipment operation and maintenance.


* Help troubleshoot plant and equipment issues as they arise.

Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?


* Three to five years' experience in a quarry or aggregate environment.

Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.


* Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.


* Team Mindset - "The NESL Way"


* Focus on Safety, Quality, and Accuracy.


* Experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.


* Valid driver's license and meets NESL's driving standards preferred.


* High School Diploma or GED.
