 COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time.

We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.

Engineer Pay Range: $106,500 - $123,700


* Sr.

Engineer II Pay Range: $123,700 - $135,000

Join our team as an Engineer – Generator Interconnections!

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer – Generator Interconnections to join our dynamic engineering team.

In this role, you will lead and contribute to technical studies and project management activities supporting Generator Interconnection (GI) studies under the SPP Tariff.

You will apply advanced engineering judgment, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely study completion.

* Conduct Technical Studies: Perform power flow, short-circuit, and transient stability analyses to support Generator Interconnection (GI) requests.


* Lead Projects: Manage GI study projects, ensuring timely, accurate delivery while mentoring junior engineers.


* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Coordinate with internal teams, transmission owners, interconnection customers, and consultants to gather data, resolve issues, and communicate results.
