SECTION 1: JOB SUMMARY

The Automation Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for the development and introduction of automated new and upgraded equipment in accordance with the product manufacturing needs.

Requirements for the automated equipment, incorporates needs for new product development, design changes or process improvements related to capacity increase, quality and process productivity improvement metrics.

Leads the planning, design, scheduling and control of Automation projects to support new product development.

Contributes to key performance indicator achievements and supports company initiatives.

Establishes procedures to ensure that automated equipment operates safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and recommends modifications.
