What You'll Do:


* Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure top-quality care for our residents.


* Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring nursing staff to build a cohesive and motivated team.


* Help develop and implement nursing policies, systems, and procedures to maintain compliance and promote high standards of care.


* Conduct rounds, monitor resident conditions, and ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect.


* Act as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians to maintain open communication and trust.


* Support staff performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and professional development.


* Participate in meetings, in-service training, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.


* Step in for the DON or charge nurses when needed to provide leadership and clinical support.


* Stay current on regulatory updates and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.

Qualifications:


* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.


* Current CA RN license in good standing.


* 3-5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in long-term care.


* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; PCC experience a plus.
