Americold Internship Experience (AIE):

The Americold Summer Internship Experience is a 12-week, full time, paid internship that takes place over the summer term in various locations throughout the country.

The internship opportunity will afford our interns to better understand of the supply chain industry, work on challenging and industry-specific projects, plus the ability to collaborate with organizational leaders, colleagues, and peers.

What You'll Do:



* Assist the Americold Network Operations team and Network Manager in the following, but not limited to:


* Develop reports to analyze bandwidth utilization


* Review critical switches logs


* Help with SD-WAN deployment


* Plan for circuit upgrades and evaluate the current alerting strategy configured in Americold monitoring system


* Collaborate with the Network Operation and Hosting teams to review network documentation including IP tracking of the physical network

What Experience You Need:



* Current junior or senior enrolled at an accredited college/university for an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, preferably a rising Senior


* Exposure to Microsoft Office (Visio) and Microsoft Office


* Exposure in the following areas: Networking concepts, desire to learn about, routing and switching (Cisco), Network design concepts, IPV4 subnetting
