The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* New Grads with a prior background as an EMT, ER Tech, Firefighter, or Military will be considered for the role.


* Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.


* Current CA state license is required.

The Practice

Sutter Coast Hospital - Crescent City, California


* Level IV Trauma Center with an 11-bed Emergency Department.


* Annual volume of 22,000 patients with approximately 1.5 patients per hour.


* Facility utilizes Epic EMR.


* Additional resources at site include general surgery and nephrology with support from Sutter Health System.


* Physician Assistant training program approved by national accrediting organization and recognized by the Physician Assistant Board.
