Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pediatric Cardiac Surgery OR

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday - Friday, four 10 hour days between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, 6 weekends per year, 1:5 on-call night and weekend rotation.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:


* Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide peri-operative care for pediatric and adult congenital patients undergoing cardiac surgery.


* Perform procedures as cardiac surgery first assist


* Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending or consulting team to adjust plans of care.

Education:

If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Work Experience:

Preferred - Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure

* Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.

These may include the following: Pediatric Acute Care and RN First Assist

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have
