CAD Technician - Water/Wastewater

Ardurra is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our team in our St Augustine, FL, location!

The position will support our well established and respected Water Practice.

Experience in civil engineering, water and wastewater, architecture, or facility design would be preferred.

Primary Function: 

The CAD Technician performs drafting assignments that require knowledge and skill in technical drafting techniques and procedures.

Projects will focus on the water and wastewater industry, including both infrastructure and treatment facility-based.

Assignments are designed to further develop your career growth and job knowledge and skills.

Primary Duties: 


* Prepares engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions, utilizing manual or computer-assisted drafting/design techniques.


* Prepares drawings from markups, charts, and tables.


* Performs related fundamental engineering support tasks such as updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc.


* May utilize information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc.


* Supports field assignments as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:


* Associate's degree or high school graduate with vocational-tech or trade school training in basic drafting technology (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).


* Ideal candidates will have approximately 5+ years of experience in a design or drafting role.


* This includes a working knowledge of fundamental CADD/drafting software.
