Recruiting Coordinator

Description & Requirements

Maximus is excited to offer an opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to join our team.

In this remote role, you will play a key part in supporting the recruiting process from application through offer stage.

Responsibilities include scheduling interviews and offer sessions, assisting candidates with technical issues in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), managing candidate data, and making outbound calls when needed.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and delivers excellent customer service to both candidates and internal stakeholders.

This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

This is a remote, full-time position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in your local time zone.

Candidates must have prior remote work experience and meet our remote work requirements, including internet speed and a quiet workspace.

This is a Limited Services (Temporary) position with benefits.

There is a possibility of becoming a regular employee, but is not guaranteed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Works on assignments that are routine in nature, with responsibilities easily learned on the job.
- Ensure all pertinent recruiting and onboarding is accurate.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring efforts.
- Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits, payroll and policy.
- Responsible for managing processes and maintain a close and highly responsible relationship to the day-to-day activities of supervisors and staff.

- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment

- Communicates clearly and accurately with internal and external contacts

- Engage with candidates regularly via phone, including conducting cold calls, to build and maintain strong talent pipelines.

- Initiate proactive outreach to potential candidates and manage consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience.
- May have training or education in area of specialization.

Experience:

- 1-3 years of relevant administrative or support experience

- Prior experience in a remote work environment is required.

Technical skills:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Can handle moderately complex functions independently.

Example: Use Excel formulas (SUM, AVERAGE), create tables in Word, design a multi-slide PowerPoint with consistent formatting, schedule meetings in Outlook

- Ability to learn and navigate new systems quickly

- Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
