Engineering Liaison

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Engineering Liaison in our Seneca, SC location.

This position will serve as a liaison between the manufacturing and engineering departments and will be instrumental in minimizing interruptions to production flow.

The end result will be reducing the negative impacts of Manufacturing/Engineering barriers on commitments made to our customers.

What will you do?


* Acknowledge and resolve engineering related issues as they occur throughout the manufacturing process


* Resolve issues at the point of detection and engage the engineer of record as needed


* Answer manufacturing team questions and provide relevant feedback to the engineering team


* Produce clear and concise documentation of repetitive issues and effectively communicate findings during engineering team meetings

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* 2-year degree in a related technical field is preferred, but not required


* 5+ years experience in the manufacture of electrical distribution equipment preferred


* Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills


* Strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment


* Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings


* Proficiency in Symmetry, LDS, ODM+, and related software


* Effective time management in order to maintain published acknowledgement and normalization timeframes within LDS
