Quality Engineer Intern

Mission:

Schneider Electric's Cooling Business Unit is passionate about helping our customers meet their Datacenter Cooling needs.

In this position, the Quality Engineer will manage the expert analysis process within the Cooling business and is responsible for quality data analysis, process and product improvement and follow up of corrective and preventive actions.

The Quality Engineer must collaborate with their internal colleagues and external vendors to perform such tasks.

This position requires an engineer with good technical writing, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to quickly develop systems knowledge and work effectively in a highly matrixed organization comprised of technical professionals.

Requirements:


* Collect all relevant information related to the analysis from the different departments.


* Create comprehensive written reports to describe the full results of the analysis.


* Analyze with interfunctional teams process and product problems and manage corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Energy, Electrical, Materials, Chemical,..) or Information Engineering is required.

Master Degree is a plus.


* Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.


* Good communication skills


* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems; Refrigeration experience a plus


* Experience with quality engineering tools and practices is preferred: process mapping, 8D process, statistical analysis, etc.


* Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, and be capable of analyzing complex problems through innovative thought and experience.


* Position located in Italy (Conselve)
