We are searching for the best talent for Thermodynamic Modeling Co-Op to be in Titusville, NJ.


* The Co-op term is from January to July, 2026


* Full time requirement (40 hours per week)

You will be responsible for:

You will contribute to our ongoing projects in the thermodynamic and process modeling of solvent systems.

Development and deployment of this capability will increase our understanding of solvent switch processes to better optimize and control our manufacturing processes.

You will be responsible for evaluating and comparing various thermodynamic models, with an emphasis on vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) and liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE).

This job posting offers flexibility in work location.

Typical day to day activities for this position can include:


* Conduct literature review


* Comparative analysis of various thermodynamics models for different solvent systems


* Summarize the performance of various models and make recommendations for specific applications


* Develop a detailed workflow/playbook on how to approach the modeling of solvent systems


* Implementation of the developed thermodynamic models into distillation process models

Qualifications / Requirements:



* Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.


* Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering (Chemical, Biological, Mechanical) Chemistry, Physics, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other related fields required with a focus on thermodynamics modeling.


* Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.


* Experience with modeling and programming (e.g., gPROMS, Python (required), ...
