Overview
The Task Force Food and Beverage Director is responsible for implementing HEI's tools and standard Procedures at Transition Hotel.
Also may act as interim Director of Food and Beverage or other Department position as needed.
Planning and management of Banquet Operations, Hotel Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Frequent travel is required (100% of the time).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Implements HEI Tools, processes and procedures at the property and ensure ongoing compliance.
* Stabilizes property during Transition period with focus on proper staffing, tools to do the job, and expense controls.
* Establishes a strong GSS focus with daily review of verbatims, establishing and consistently working on an action plan to improve.
* Ensures Brand Standards and Property Safety Standards are closely followed at all times.
* Forecasts, implements, monitors, controls and reports on the various outlet budgets and their components (labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc.) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
* Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
* Interviews, hires, trains, recommends performance evaluations, resolves problems, provides open communication and recommends discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
* Creates, recommends and implements promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to capture more in house guests and a larger share of the local market.
* Identifies Social Media and email marketing needs and ensure continuing online presence.
* Monitors and controls the maintenance and sanitation of the various outlet areas and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service.
* Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A minimum of 2-5 years' relevant Food and Beverage experience.
Hotel experience preferred
* Strong experience in Microsoft Office along with various software programs knowledge, POS/Open Table.
