Senior Underwriter, Construction Surety

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Construction Surety team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Underwriter.

As a leading global insurance provider, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation in the surety sector.

In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise in underwriting and your knowledge of the construction industry to assess risk and develop tailored surety solutions for our clients.

Duties may include but are not limited to:


* Marketing and prospecting for new business, primarily through travelling throughout the assigned territory.

Travel expectations 10-25% with flexible territory options.


* Documents the underwriting files.


* Determines terms and conditions and complex rating plans.


* Handles more complex files and portfolios.


* Guides and mentors junior staff.
