Position: HR Business Partner

Purpose
Manage the HR function, participate in design, and ensure implementation of the HR strategy and HR business support plans to fulfill the organization’s resource requirements in line with business strategy, industry best practices, and local legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities


* Develop and implement HR plans and policies to build a culture that encourages high performance and retention of talent.


* Ensure HR policies comply with statutory regulations and align with internal and external best practices.


* Lead and deliver key HR activities through own teams or centers of expertise and provide a full HR service portfolio to the defined organization.


* Manage vendor/service relationships and service level agreements with specific business units/partners (e.g., outsourced payroll).


* Act as a trusted advisor to the business and partner with management teams to support business growth, transformation, and organizational capability.


* Consult with Business Managers on HR matters, balancing strategic and operational activities.


* Monitor deployment of HR strategic plans and achievement of sub-functional goals to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness.


* Ensure process improvement and adapt HR processes to better suit organizational needs.

Stakeholder Management



* Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.


* Develop strong, trusting relationships with business leaders across DHL.


* Coordinate and cooperate with third parties such as external service providers.


* Advise customers and key stakeholders on processes, systems, and tools.
 


* Management Responsibility



* Lead experienced professionals with autonomy and independence in assignments.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

Education


* Bachelor’s Degree (HR/Labor Law certification is a plus, not mandatory).

Experience


* 6+ years of experience in HR.


* Proven experience partnering with senior management and executives in complex, multi-country/customer environments.


* Team leadership experience (small to medium-sized teams).


* Prior budget management experience.
