Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior BI/Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering & Analytics team.

In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and analysts to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and visualizations.

You will also support business intelligence initiatives using tools like Qlik Cloud and Power BI, contribute to our data warehousing and data modeling efforts with technologies such as Snowflake and dbt, and help enable a semantic layer and self-service BI capabilities for business users.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational knowledge in data engineering who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities



* Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ELT processes.


* Support the integration, consolidation, and cleansing of data from multiple sources.


* Collaborate with analysts, product owners and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.


* Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Qlik Cloud and Power BI, leveraging semantic layers to ensure consistent business definitions and metrics.


* Enable and support self-service BI capabilities, empowering business users to access and analyze data independently.


* Participate in the design and implementation of data models to ensure efficient data organization and retrieval.


* Work with Snowflake and other data warehousing technologies to manage and optimize data storage solutions.


* Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.


* Ensure data quality and integrity across all data systems.


* Document data workflows, processes, and best practices.


* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications



* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


* Familiarity with SQL.


* Exposure to programming languages such as Python.


* Understanding of ELT concepts and basic data warehousing principles.


* Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with business intelligence tools, especially Qlik Cloud and Fabric/Power BI.
