Sr Systems Engineer

The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Bank’s core infrastructure.

This role manages day-to-day operations, maintenance, support and also ensure systems are secure, highly available, and scalable to support the Bank’s strategic goals.

The Senior Systems Engineer also serves as a technical mentor to colleagues, contributes to strategic planning, and partners with both IT leadership and business units to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


* Design, implement, and maintain server, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.


* Support network and security teams with system integrations, patching, and hardening.


* Partner with application, data, and security teams to ensure infrastructure supports business needs.


* Participate in disaster recovery strategy, planning, testing, and execution.


* Automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.


* Monitor system performance and proactively address capacity, stability, or security risks.


* Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues, including root cause analysis.

Education and Experience Requirements:


* Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.


* 7+ years of progress IT infrastructure experience or equivalent experience


* Extensive technical knowledge of Servers/Blade Enclosures.


* Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

Including installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting.


* Experience with backup solutions, enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), scripting, monitoring, and automation


* Extensive hands-on system support experience with virtualization such as VMware


* Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS


* Advanced knowledge with implementing/renewing keys and Digital Certificates


* Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strong collaboration and attention to detail.
