AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Tilt Operator on 2^nd.

Shift to be located in West Plains, MO.  This position operates tilt lift machine to keep lumber supplied to two production lines. 

JOB DUTIES:


* Records pack footage, grade, lot number and date by ticket number on summary sheet.


* Operates tilt machine to direct lumber to two production lines while releasing stacking sticks from between layers of lumber.


* Places stacking sticks into storage cart and places banding material around completed cart of sticks using banding tools.


* Scan in pack / ticket information in to the M3 software program; ensuring correct specie, footage and ticket number.


* Reconcile all pack transactions with kiln lift driver to ensure all packs are accounted for.


* Check moisture content of the top, middle and bottom of each pack and enter information into database.


* Ensure lumber is uniformly delivered to each Planer infeed conveyor.


* Operate and monitor stick unscrambler and accumulating bin.


* Assist Planer operator as needed.


* Performs routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on infeed, tilt hoist, stick belt and landing decks.


* Perform any other duties assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


* The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence. 


* Interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


* The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.



* The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:


* Regularly standing, walking, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements.


* Frequently required to climb or balance.


* Occasionally stoop, kneel or crawl and talk or hear.


* Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


* Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
