Resident Assistant for Springfield Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center

Springfield Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center is looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team! The Resident Assistant provides indirect patient care activities.

Assists residents with activities of daily living, comforts and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for residents during meal times.

We are a 146 bed facility with a home like environment and a new 30 bed rehab wing.

We are pleased to share we have received the CMS 5 star rating for the past several years.

Position: Resident Assistant

Position Highlights: -Provides morning care, which may include cleaning overbed table, straightening room, setting dining room tables and other general care as necessary throughout the day.
-Prepares residents for meals and services, removes food trays and assists with meals or assists residents with eating.
-Distributes drinking water, ice and other nourishments to patients

Education:
Attend in-service programs, as assigned, to learn procedures and develop skills and meet state requirements.
Attend feeding assistant class to assist some residents with eating
