Program Dates:  January 12, 2026 – June 26, 2026

Position Summary

This role will support our Test Engineering Team at Abiomed – A JnJ MedTech company.

As a Test Engineer, the individual will conduct engineering tests, analyze and document test data, and design and implement test improvements and fixturing.

A candidate for this position should be driven by our patient-centric mission and will have the unique opportunity to engage across multiple innovative Abiomed product lines.

Key Responsibilities


* Design and develop engineering tests as well as document test protocols and reports


* Conduct engineering tests for product development and quality engineering projects


* Design and qualify engineering test fixtures


* Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, manufacturing, quality, and equipment design

Minimum Requirements


* Available January 12, 2026 – June 26, 2026


* Student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline


* Strong testing, analytical, and engineering problem-solving skills


* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills


* Ability to work independently and also collaborate cross-functionally


* Knowledge or experience with general engineering lab equipment (Instron, Keyence Microscope, 3D printer, multimeter, etc)


* Experience with SolidWorks preferred
