Sr. Aviation Project Manager

DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International is seeking a Senior Aviation Civil Engineer/Project Manager, based in our Lakewood, Colorado office, to lead aviation infrastructure projects across Colorado and beyond!

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our aviation practice in Colorado, working closely with regional leadership to expand our impact and capabilities.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


* Lead airside and landside infrastructure projects from concept through construction


* Serve as a senior technical expert and client liaison


* Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality and safety


* Drive business development and help grow our aviation footprint in the region


* Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion

QUALIFICATIONS


* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field


* 10+ years of aviation engineering experience


* PE License in Colorado required


* Strong knowledge of FAA Design Circulars and airfield geometric layout


* Experience with airfield pavements, hangars, utilities, and airport support facilities


* strong understanding of FAA Design Circulars and Construction Specifications, and a background in geometric layout of airfield facilities.


* Excellent communication and leadership skills

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $131,000 to $228,000.

This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
