The internships based in Santa Clara, California offer an exciting opportunity for students interested in robotics, system integration, clinical applications, and engineering.

Interns will work on a variety of projects to support the development of next-generation surgical robotic platforms that improve patient outcomes worldwide. 

 

About the Role 

As an intern within Robotics Systems Integration & Systems Engineering, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the design, development, testing, and validation of complex robotic systems used in healthcare.

Your work may involve software development, hardware integration, clinical workflow analysis, or system validation, depending on project needs.  

Note: This posting is hiring for 2 different focus areas.

Systems Engineering and Systems Integration.

Interns may be assigned to roles focused on either 2 focus areas, or a combination thereof. 

These roles primarily focus on system-level tasks, including hardware-software interface, system calibration, troubleshooting, validation, and clinical workflow support.

While programming skills are essential, the role is not centered on core software architecture, algorithm development, or software design; those are typically the focus of a dedicated Software Engineering internship.
