We are searching for the best talent for a Materials Requirements Planner to be based in Leiden.
In this vital role, you will help ensure the smooth flow of raw materials and components necessary for our production processes.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to optimizing material planning, procurement, and inventory management to meet patient and customer needs.

This role is full-time, with a contract duration aligned to project needs, and requires fluency in English.

As a Materials Requirements Planner, you will:
* Developing, maintaining, and sharing Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) to meet patient and customer needs effectively.
* Leading inventory levels to balance availability with minimizing excess, obsolete, or expired materials.
* Communicating material delivery schedules clearly to suppliers to ensure timely production.
* Partnering with Global Procurement to improve supplier performance, focusing on quality and punctuality.
* Tracking and reporting supplier service performance, sharing insights with relevant teams.
* Collaborating with Quality and Warehouse teams to handle rejected or defective materials, ensuring swift resolution.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* A master’s degree in supply chain management or a related business field is important.
* Up to 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain functions such as planning, purchasing, logistics, or manufacturing—preferably in a multinational or pharmaceutical environment.
