Sustainability Generalist Intern

This part-time position within the Office of Sustainability will support internal communications, dashboards, employee engagement, and benchmarking research, focused on environmental sustainability.

 The intern will receive guidance, training, and mentoring from colleagues in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. 

 

REPONSIBILITIES


* Research and update reports, including the annual trends and insights benchmarking report


* Develop communication toolkits, refreshing content to support the global employee impact community and key employee engagement initiatives


* Curate, write, and post content highlighting sustainability initiatives on internal channels


* Track communication and engagement metrics, sharing insights for continuous improvement, and demonstrated impact


* Prepare dashboards, tracking data and insights

 

Expected hours/duration of intern:

Must be available to work part-time (20 hours/week) from January to December.

Students must be able to provide their own transportation to the location.

Students must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g.

H1-B status) now or in the future.

Qualifications:


* Qualified candidates must be a currently enrolled student in good standing and working towards a qualified degree.


* We are looking for candidates pursuing a graduate level degree and will also consider junior/senior undergraduates.  Majors in Environmental Studies, Communications, Journalism, Business/Marketing or related degree with a minor or experience in environmental sustainability will be considered.


* Candidates must be highly motivated and can work independently on multiple projects with general direction and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
