Multi Asset Private Markets Investment Team, Portfolio Manager, Vice President/Associate

Morgan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced investment professional to join our Multi Asset Private Markets Investment Team.

This role is primarily focused on managing private investment portfolios within our innovative discretionary investment program, designed to offer clients diversified exposure to private investments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private markets investing, robust analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Responsibilities:


* Assist in the portfolio management efforts across all discretionary investment programs, including actively maintaining investment plans for portfolios in close partnership with other portfolio managers


* Monitor and analyze current portfolio positioning and performance across discretionary portfolios, ensuring they remain in line with guidelines


* Manage the trade execution, reporting, and data oversight processes for discretionary investment programs, balancing the need for robust and effective controls with timely, accurate, and transparent reporting for clients


* Collaborate with the Head of Private Investments Portfolio Solutions to lead independent research and analysis to inform portfolio construction, asset allocation, and potential positioning shifts

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:


* 4+ years of experience in private markets investing, with a focus on portfolio management or investment due diligence


* Robust analytical proficiency, particularly in Excel, with the ability to perform complex financial modeling and analysis


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:


* Experience with semi-liquid evergreen solutions preferred
