Intertek's Softlines Testing services enable retailers, brands and manufacturers of textiles, apparel, fashion accessories, footwear and home textiles to ensure the safety and quality of their products.

Intertek performs softlines testing on items ranging from fabric samples to finished products, including apparel and footwear for children and adults (pajamas, sweaters, jeans, outerwear) and home furnishings (bedding, curtains, furniture fabric, rugs).

What are we looking for?

The Laboratory Technician ll, Footwear Lab is responsible for performing the testing activities in the footwear laboratory and coordinating the testing activities to meet the service requirements of the laboratory.

Shift/Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm local time, Mon to Fri

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What You'll Do:


* Prepare test specimens, perform testing, and reporting of test results into the Laboratory LIMS system.

The test includes, physical, color fastness, pH value tests on footwear products and materials


* Read understand, and follow lab standard operating procedures, or Standard test Methods and /or client test methods as required by the customers


* Co-ordinate work with other department team members to complete testing, reporting and report issue in a timely manner


* Communicate with account manager to obtain required number of samples and/or clarifications about the projects from the client
