Infrastructure & Network Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure & Network Engineering Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure.

This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, security, and performance optimization.

The Infrastructure & Network Engineering Lead will work closely with other IT teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network systems.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:


* Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure.


* Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of network systems.


* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.


* Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications.


* Manage network-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.


* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.


* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's network infrastructure remains current and competitive.


* Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Technical Knowledge and Understanding:


* Strong knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security.


* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) preferred.


* Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) preferred.

Experience:
 


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.


* Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.


* Previous experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.


* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.


* Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) preferred.


* Experience with Cisco solutions (Meraki, Cisco) preferred.
