OPERATION MANAGER

POSITION: IWS OPERATIONS MANAGER
LOCATION: Cundinamarca
Manage the implementation process of new accounts and other projects, the development and compliance of training programs, monitoring inventory control, compliance with the maintenance plan, continuous improvement projects, as well as all related activities to ensure compliance with the established quality standards for the product.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Develop the engineering strategy to support the management of storage and distribution product (IWS), taking into account the latest advancements and technologies available in the logistics market.
Lead the implementation projects of new accounts, transfers, requests from current clients, etc.
Ensure proper documentation and presentation of the progress and results of the different projects, as well as their overall compliance.
Develop and lead continuous improvement projects (5S, Gemba, Problem Solving, Performance Dialog, CIP) for the various IWS operations.
Monitor the development of maintenance plans to ensure that equipment, shelving, and infrastructure in general are in good condition.
Provide support to the commercial area in technical and commercial proposals for current and new clients.
Develop the strategy for increasing productivity and resource planning for the various IWS operations.
Develop the quality area strategy to ensure all required controls and procedures are in place.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Professional in Industrial Engineering, International Trade, and/or Business Administration.
Preferably, specialization or master's degree in project management.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software (Plus).
Intermediate to advanced English.
Previous experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
Experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
Familiarity with distribution processes, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations applicable to storage and distribution.
Focus on customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement.
5 to 10 years of experience in similar positions.
