The Principal Project Engineer is accountable for delivering major Capital Projects that enable the production capacity growth of our world class manufacturing platforms and supporting systems.

You will be directly responsible for developing scope, schedules, and budgets for new manufacturing line installations, capital equipment retrofits, and process utility system upgrades.

The successful candidate will take an active role in utilization of contracted services and contribute to the design and delivery of appropriate contracts and agreements that provide an adequate labor pool for all needed services.

The candidate must have a strong track record in deploying successful capital projects within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:


* Lead multi-functional teams (internal and external to Engineering) and influence business decisions around optimal scope approaches.

Supervise the activities of a multi-disciplined staff that may change in size and composition from project to project.


* Accountable for delivering site priority capital projects that span equipment upgrades, brand conversions, and utility installation/commissioning.


* Establishes project timeline, objectives, priorities, and targets for major capital projects.

Responsible for acquiring bids and obtaining capital appropriation approval from senior leadership.
