Clinic Assistant

Join the growing Gastroenterology (GI) team at 87th Ave as a Clinic Assistant ( non-clinical ) and make a difference behind the scenes in patient care!

Location: 87th Ave (700 NE 87th Ave - Vancouver, WA 98664)

Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30a-5:00p (NO late nights! NO weekends! Paid holidays!)

Hiring range : is between $18.60-$22.30 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Key responsibilities: This role is focused on clerical support to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication is required


* Assist with scheduling appointments and assist with checkouts and recalls


* Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries


* Process referrals, prescription authorizations, and insurance appeals


* Respond to third-party documentation requests


* Monitor and order non-pharmaceutical supplies

Requirements:


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting required


* Excellent written and verbal communication required


* EPIC experience preferred

Pay Range:
$18.24 - $25.54

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked.

Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.

Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
