Data Governance & Validation Senior Advisor - Forsyth Health - Remote
Role and Responsibilities:
The Data Governance & Validation Senior Advisor will be responsible for Data Governance and Validation by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data within the Forsyth organization.
The Senior Manager will provide guidance based on experience and knowledge and will play a key role in decision making, problem solving and strategic planning.
* Define guidelines for data accuracy, completeness, consistency and format across all data sources.
* Implement procedures to actively detect and clean inconsistencies, duplicates, missing values and other data quality problems.
* Develop and enforce policies related to data access, usage and retention.
* Continuously monitor data quality metrics.
Generate reports and visualizations to identify issues and track improvements.
* Document data lineage, tracking the origin and movement of data throughout the organization to understand its provenance and potential downstream impact.
* Educate Forsyth data users on data governance policies, data quality expectations and best practices for handling data.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of healthcare experience in data governance, data validation or similar role.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* Strong proficiency in data management tools and platforms, including SQL, Python and/or Databricks
* Prior people leadership experience strongly preferred (role will have direct reports)
* Adapt to a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal oversight.
* Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions and leverage technology.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and openly communicate status, issues/risks, and challenges presented to a project.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,800 - 186,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
