Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an Engineering Product Development Co-op to join our Product Development Team for Spring 2026 located in Halethorpe Baltimore, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY
Abiomed Co-Ops offers a unique opportunity to work in the forefront of medical device development.
As a hands-on engineering co-op, you'll be an integral part of our ECMO development team.
You'll contribute to designing, testing, and implementing innovative solutions that support patients with critical heart and lung conditions.
Join us in advancing the standard of care in ECMO technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conceptualize, develop, and iterate designs.
* Test new designs (functional testing, mechanical testing, and simulated use).
* Brainstorm novel ideas for device improvements using test results.
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
* Provide documentation support and complete written reports on testing and designs.
* Actively participate in design reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
* Currently enrolled as student in a Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Program.
* Must have completed at least 2 years of undergrad completed by Summer 2025.
* Must be able to use 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
* High mechanical design aptitude .
* Basic electrical knowledge.
* Interest in the medical device industry.
* Position is on-site and not remote.
