Work Category: Onsite (initial 6-months).

Later, Hybrid.

Flexible hours.

Position requires 1-2hrs regular collaboration with North American teams during the evening hours of IST.

Travel: Minimal.

Candidate should be willing to travel domestically and internationally for training/conferences.

GTA has 300+ Electrical & Mechanical Engineers that offer Engineering (Order Engineering, Product enhancement/maintenance, Electrical CAD Content Creation etc.) and Quotation services to the ETO (Engineer to Order) plants of Schneider Electric in North America, Europe, India etc.

The team continues to grow in numbers and expand its footprints to serve other geographics which demands a need for dedicated leaders for Continuous Improvement & Quality for Engineering and Quotations.

The Methods and Tools Team, responsible for driving project engineering and quotations teams to world-class performance, seeks a Continuous Improvement & Quality Engineer.

This position is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts across a diverse landscape, aligning front-office and back-office people, processes, and technology to transformour Project Engineering & Quotations domain to gain consistency in practices and customer experience worldwide, while optimizing across operations, specialized support, system-wide governance, and continuous improvement.

* Serve as the Quality champion for their location to analyze OCN data and identify quality initiatives to deliver end-to-end engineering/quotes quality and customer satisfaction.


* Audit/Lead SPS(Schneider Production System) Front End activities for GTA Team.


* Identify training & development needs across the total engineering/quotes domain.


* Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria (based upon SPS principles) for obtaining results.
