Responsibilities: 


* As an Engineering & Data Science co-op in the R&D business, you will have the opportunity to: 



* Perform analysis of structured and unstructured surgical data sets, uncovering insights for Robotics, Handheld Instruments, or Digital Products R&D engineering teams. 



* Contribute to product conceptualization efforts for brand new surgical tools and platforms. 



* Write software that enables collaborative data analysis and ensure data quality. 



* Develop and carry out mechanical, electrical, and biological tissue laboratory experiments. 



* Design and optimize data visualizations for stakeholders.  



* Contribute as a member of a team with mentorship from seasoned Hardware Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists. 



* Rotations are generally 3-5 months on-site in Cincinnati, OH, and availability for multiple rotations is desired.
