Johnson & Johnson, Robotics and Digital Solutions (RAD) group is recruiting for a Staff Computer Hardware Architect, located in Santa Clara, CA.

Johnson & Johnson Robotics was established in 2020 with the integration of Auris Health, Verb Surgical, C-SATS, and Ethicon.

It comprises three key med-tech platforms: Flexible Robotics (MONARCH®), Surgical Robotics (OTTAVA™), and Digital Solutions.

Core Job Responsibilities:


* Using requirements developed through multi-functional team input, design and develop computer and network architecture schemes for advanced robotic systems. 


* Distill internal requirements into subsystem specifications for computer designs including memory, processing power, computing speeds, peripheral busses, graphics, and thermals. 


* Understand commercial product roadmaps related to processing systems to resolve short term and long-term needs and benefits.
