We are searching for the best talent to join our MedTech Biosurgery team as a Principal Scientist, R&D, located in Raritan, NJ.

Purpose: The Principal Scientist, Biosurgery will serve as a key technical leader in our new product development team.

Our team of scientists, engineers, and technical specialists are in the forefront of technology in the medical device industry.

As a key technical leader in this group, you will be making vital contributions to the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline and improving patient care through innovation.

This role provides an opportunity to develop exciting new biosurgery products to market.

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:


* Leads formulation design efforts from concept through to prototyping phases, Design Reviews and Validation


* Collaborate with external suppliers and internal partners to develop products


* Drive product characterization to ensure rigorous technical understanding and relationships to pre-clinical/clinical outcomes


* Lead raw material suppliers through raw material iterations, correlating to product design window


* Drive execution of Learning Plans


* Participate in multi-functional discussions and design reviews, including product creation at multiple scale...
