Real Estate Counsel

Seasoned attorney with experience in the following substantive areas: mergers and acquisitions; public company securities law, including proxy statements, current and periodic reporting, insider trading compliance, and corporate governance; executive compensation; corporate financing; and general commercial and contract.

In this role you will work directly with internal clients to structure, draft and negotiate contracts; work collaboratively with financial reporting, capital management and treasury teams to ensure that all securities filings are timely and in compliance with all laws and regulations.

You will interact with and advise senior management in areas of your responsibility.

Position also involves resolution of contract disputes; risk analysis; regulatory compliance; preparing and revising standard forms of agreements; and training internal clients on legal issues.

Must have excellent writing skills and must be capable of handling most matters with a minimum of supervision.

* Keep supervisor informed of all material legal matters affecting the Company.


* Review, draft and negotiate legal agreements and other legal documents.


* Advise Company concerning legal rights and obligations.
