Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine ("JJIM") is recruiting for a Senior Director to lead our Americas Agile Team.

This role can be located in New Jersey or Pennsylvania

This role is accountable for:

Ensuring that the Procurement organization delivers results in support of the JJIM Americas business strategy and objectives.

The role works directly with the leadership team of the Company Group Chair that owns the JJIM Americas business, as well as the country managing directors, regional business leaders, and regional finance director to align Procurement’s activities.

Leading operational execution of the commercial categories, and other categories when required, and their respective strategies, globally, for the JJIM business.

Key Responsibilities:



* Understand JJIM business needs and partner with categories to devise Procurement strategies to advance those priorities


* Identify industry trends that Procurement must build into its category strategies to ensure sustainable relevance to the JJIM business


* Lead and develop the Americas Agile Team, responsible for operational execution of the global category strategies and their implementation, including the delivery of sourcing and contracting services for certain activities


* Lead major strategic negotiations for owned categories on behalf of the JJIM business


* Be the Business Engagement Leader with regional heads, and where appropriate, directly with senior business leaders, to ensure alignment with regional business strategies


* Participate in the JJIM Americas Procurement Leadership Team to provide leadership to the function regionally in the achievement of business objectives


* Shape performance targets for the JJIM Procurement organization in the role’s areas of responsibility, and ensure target achievement


* At times, sponsor JJIM Procurement initiatives to deliver standardized process and value across the organization as a member of the JJIM Extended Leadership Team (ELT)
