About the Role

The Infrastructure Business Development Manager is a commercial and at times, technical resource that is focused on the Rockwell Automation portfolio of automation products and services that are available to customers, and engineering firms involved in public and private infrastructure work in our Rockwell authorized territory of New York City, Long Island, parts of Upstate New York, Central and Northern New Jersey.

The focus of the position will be to provide support to internal and external customers and stakeholders working on infrastructure projects in the aforementioned regions to increase Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation market share.

The targets are primarily in the areas of variable frequency drives (VFD’s,) motor control centers (MCC’s,) and programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) or programmable automation controllers (PAC’s.) This support will include providing technical knowledge in the use of these products and will act as a liaison between the customer, engineering firms, and the vendor.

In addition, the role will include education of internal and external customers through webinars and on-site interactions on an as-needed basis.

These presentations will provide customers with information about new and existing products and services, and the benefits of including them in the projects they are working on.

Knowledge of the local infrastructure market and competitive landscape will be the goals of the role to provide a more focused solution to the customers and opportunity.

This is a remote position with travel required in the New York/New Jersey area.
