Georgia-Pacific is seeking qualified professionals to consider for an Engineering Manager role supporting the Consumer Manufacturing Group located in Muskogee, OK.

The Muskogee facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue, towel, and napkin products in a progressive production environment.

As the Engineering Manager at Georgia-Pacific's Muskogee manufacturing facility, you will lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for driving operational excellence through effective engineering solutions.

You will help to manage capital projects, and process improvements to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.

Your leadership will be critical in enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting sustainable manufacturing practices aligned with Georgia-Pacific's business objectives.

You will collaborate closely with Operations, Safety, and Supply Chain teams to prioritize engineering initiatives, optimize costs, and maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capability to foster a high-performing engineering team that contributes to the plant's long-term success.

What You Will Do


* Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture


* Lead, mentor, and develop an engineering team focused on mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines


* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration


* Manage and prioritize capital projects, maintenance improvements, and plant expansions to support production goals


* Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards


* Oversee plant equipment maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and reliability


* Implement predictive and preventative maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime


* Drive initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, improve energy efficiency, and reduce costs


* Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for equipment failures or process inefficiencies


* Champion compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety and environmental policies
