Western Slope Health Care Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a medical leave absence.

This role is vital in creating a positive first impression for residents and families while ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process.

? What You'll Do:


* Oversee and manage the entire admissions process with efficiency and compassion


* Greet and guide residents and families through a smooth, positive intake experience


* Screen and admit patients, complete all required paperwork, and verify insurance coverage


* Maintain accurate records of bed availability and coordinate with nursing/case management to ensure appropriateness of admissions


* Collaborate with department leaders to enhance the admissions experience and meet census goals


* Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as physicians, discharge planners, and social workers


* Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality standards, and facility guidelines


* Contribute to outreach efforts and represent the facility positively in the community
