Job Summary:
As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at you will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
You will play a key role in designing testing scenarios, identifying bugs, and suggesting improvements to ensure that our software products are both functional and reliable.
Primary Functions:
* Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Perform manual and automated testing to identify software problems and their causes.
* Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues.
* Track and document all testing defects and resolutions.
* Participate in the design and development meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
* Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
* Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of the overall system.
* Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.
* Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards, and those standards set forth by upstream sources.
* Work closely with vendors and customer to gain information and to ensure smooth deployment
* Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Work Mode: Remote
Shift Timings: Sunday to Thursday 1pm to10pm Indian Standard Time
Location: Remote
What We Are Looking For:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 4-5 years of working experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
* Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Familiarity with manual testing; automation experience is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and database testing.
* Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
