Afternoon Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

As the Maintenance Technician, you will ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order.

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Perform necessary preventive maintenance on a timely basis with adequate recordkeeping


* Repair and maintain conveying systems, production machinery and packaging equipment


* Install, dismantle, repair, reassemble and move machinery as required to maintain effective production


* Repair or replace broken and/or malfunctioning components


* Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications


* Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* 2 years of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment


* Knowledge of electronics and computer programming to repair machinery


* PC experience (PLCs)


* Availability for on-call support as required by team's rotation schedule

It'd be great if you also have:


* High school diploma or equivalent, and/or vocational technical school or on-the-job training


* Solid organizational skills and proven ability to multitask


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
