Administrative Services Supervisor - DPSS

The County of Riverside's Department of Public Social Services is seeking to fill an Administrative Services Supervisor position to support the DPSS Technology and Support Services (TSS) unit in Riverside, CA.

The Administrative Services Supervisor oversees the Technology Support Services (TSS) Service Desk units, which include the DPSS Mobility Unit Service Desk, Computer-Related Service Desk, and TSS CalSAWs Services Desk.

They will be responsible for supervising the service desk units and managing the configuration and deployment of mobile devices, such as cell phones, mobile hotspots, and broadband services.

The supervisor will oversee device refreshes and manage mobile accounts for AT&T/FirstNet and Verizon.

They will process and manage ServiceNow requests related to mobility hardware and inventory control and work with Riverside County Information Technology (RCIT) on equipment deployment and task requests.

Other duties include maintaining the Equipment Matrix and Mobility Standards Matrices, supervising the service desk units and managing the configuration and deployment of mobile devices such as cell phones, mobile hotspots, and broadband services.

The supervisor is also expected to update the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the service desks and monitor project budgets to ensure proper equipment distribution.

The most competitive candidates will have advanced knowledge of IT service desk (SLA) and Microsoft Suite products, IT work experience with AT&T/First Net and Verizon Portals, and maintenance experience with MDM Maas360 and mobile devices.

Candidates with Lean Six Sigma or equivalent project management training experience are highly desired and strongly encouraged to apply.
