Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Head of Government Affairs & Policy Southeast Asia Sub-Cluster  Malaysia, Singapore Indonesia and Brunei  to join the Government Affairs & Policy team.

This position is to serve J&J businesses in the Southeast Asia subcluster of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei.

The individual will be based out of our J&J office located in Selangor, Malaysia

While the position is to serve holistically across Innovative Medicine, MedTech and Vision, the individual will have a direct work scope for Malaysia (primary) as well as to support Indonesia and Brunei.

The individual will also be responsible to manage and coach a direct report, Singapore GA&P Lead.

This role is primarily responsible for identifying the key policy areas important to business and for developing & implementing strategic external engagement plans in partnership with the business- and regional/global partners.

Set with the aligned goals and priorities, the individual will then work with external stakeholders to shape the prioritized healthcare policies that are relevant to the company and the innovative healthcare industry, including but not limited to access and pricing, regulatory, IP, tax, supply chain and trade policies.

The individual will work proactively to shape the external environment and influence decisions by policy makers, government- and regulatory bodies, while partnering with business- and key functional leaders as well as industry groups in the cluster.

in understanding and adopting cost-effective models of care to promote health care access and delivery.

The individual will also need to partner closely within APAC regional functions to ensure our efforts in the sub cluster is consistent with J&J global position and will the market effect on policies that support the innovation and patient access to innovative medicines and medical technologies.
