Manufacturing Engineer Vision Uppsala

We are looking for a driven Manufacturing Engineer to lead process and equipment improvement initiatives.

You will join a positive and collaborative Engineering team of 8 engineers from different backgrounds.

The team supports the site with both short- and long-term technical solutions for components, products and processes.

Over the coming years, the Uppsala site is undergoing a major technical transformation, replacing end-of-life (EOL) technology and equipment with new.

Key Responsibilities:



* Lead technical and process improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, problem solving, process mapping and data analysis to secure the quality, delivery and cost targets of the site.


* Develop and optimise new and existing manufacturing processes using Lean principles and process excellence tools.


* Develop and execute Test Plans and Process Validation activities including Computerized System Validations (CSV).


* Take on project leadership responsibilities for full or partial ownership of small to medium-sized projects including, planning, scheduling, cost control and project budget management.


* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams both local and global levels.

* Education Level: BSc or MSc.

in Material Science, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field.
