Responsibilities


* Provide therapy to residents with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders


* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans


* Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to maximize resident outcomes


* Document progress and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines


* Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and care techniques

Qualifications


* Current California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Passion for caring for seniors and supporting their rehabilitation journey


* Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply
