GDN - Warranty Administrator

Warranty Administrator 

The warranty administrator is responsible for communicating with manufacturers, securing replacement parts and repairs for defective merchandise.

The warranty administrator handles the shipment of defective parts, arranges for the delivery of replacements or receipt of credit, keeping an accounting of transactions, and handling all warranty requests in compliance with both company standards and legal requirements. 

Candidate should possess strong organizational skills to ensure that all warranty paperwork and documentation are completed and maintained in an orderly fashion.

Both written and verbal communication talents are important, as this role communicates frequently with vendors and manufacturers to ensure claims are completed in a timely, efficient manner.

Candidate must also possess basic computer knowledge and good clerical skills.

Responsibilities: 


* Organization of details with service personnel in other branches on all aspects of warranty process 



* Follow multiple manufacturer warranty policies and procedures acknowledging frequent updates and changes 



* Clarify warranty information before repairs are completed upon request, confirm that each repair detail is properly documented and falls under specific coverage guideline 



* Process claims within a timely manner for multiple branches, following up on status and resubmitting details as requested until payments are received 



* Forward requests for parts return to service departments and assist with inventory lists of failed parts 



* Review closed invoices for multiple branches for accuracy each day
