As a Casthouse Technical Process Leader, you’ll guide process engineering and quality initiatives that drive safety, efficiency, and innovation.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy mentoring others while solving complex challenges.
* Lead shift operations with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Serve as the primary technical and quality resource for casthouse operations.
* Coordinate engineering initiatives and support cross-functional teams.
* Facilitate training programs to build technical capabilities across the team.
* Act as a liaison with internal centers of excellence (COE), technical visitors, and customers.
* Champion APS (Alcoa Production System) activities and drive process improvements.
* Maintain and enhance quality systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Communicate performance metrics and progress toward KPIs to leadership.
* Support supplier and customer quality meetings to strengthen relationships.
* Step in as Process Lead when needed.
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Associate’s degree with experience also considered).
* 2–3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing process engineering.
* Strong understanding of process control systems and engineering principles.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Supervisory experience is a plus.
