Serve in a strategic and hands-on capacity through partnering with the Business Leaders and employees on day-to-day Talent needs. This role provides guidance and support to help develop and deliver the people strategy and business solutions.
As part of the Plant Leadership Team, this role supports and collaborates with Plant Managers and Team leaders, Talent, employees, and Global People Organization COE teams.
Focusing on the 1–2-year people plan, the Plant Talent Business Partner serves in a leadership capacity within the manufacturing facilities and reports directly into the Global People Organization.
This role will also provide HR leadership in the startup of a greenfield manufacturing location.
This incumbent provides direct leadership to the Plant Global People Organization team and support to all Plant employees to achieve objectives and drive sustained competitiveness and long-term viability as an organization.
In this role, you will:
* Strategic Partnership & Startup Leadership: Collaborate with the Plant Manager and SC Transformation Team to launch the Warren, OH greenfield facility, aligning startup activities with long-term business goals and strategic vision.
* Culture & High-Performance Work System: Design, implement, and sustain a High-Performance Work System culture, fostering employee engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning: Lead the development and execution of the plant’s talent strategy, including recruitment, workforce planning, organizational design, and performance management.
* Leadership Development & Coaching: Provide coaching and support for plant leaders in onboarding, career development, and team effectiveness, while identifying and addressing learning needs.
* Employee Relations & Engagement: Drive positive employee relations through engagement initiatives, climate survey follow-ups, and enablement activities that promote a safe and inclusive workplace.
* Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure adherence to legal, corporate, and regional compliance requirements, maintaining standardized policies and procedures across the plant.
* Community & Change Leadership: Maintain strong community and government relations, support change management initiatives, and promote the company’s image as a responsible corporate citizen and preferred employer.
